After watching friends, family, and customers get burned by moving brokers who quietly handed their jobs off to unknown subcontracted crews, Craig Tarnutzer set out to build something different — an Arizona based moving company that shows up when it says it will, quotes a price and holds to it, and uses its own trained crew on every single move. What began as a commitment to doing things the right way has grown into a full-service moving company serving homes and businesses throughout the Phoenix Valley.

Meet The Owner
I’m Craig Tarnutzer, founder of Clear Course Moving. After spending more than 15 years consulting small businesses as a fractional CFO and controller, I decided it was time to build a business of my own around something I’ve always enjoyed—helping people move. As an Eagle Scout, I learned early the value of hard work, integrity, service, and leaving things better than I found them. Those principles continue to guide both my business and my life. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me camping with my five kids, playing board games with my family, or jumping into a pickup game of basketball or volleyball. My goal is simple: treat every customer with honesty and respect, work hard, and make every move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
